install says no harddisk?

I itried installing ASL on a Dell 1300 system, but the installation says no HD where found while there's a healthy raid5 through perc2 controller.
is there a way to have a driver diskette used?

    Have you checked that kernel 2.4.19 support your raid controller? i can't find the controller under http://docs.astaro.org/HCL-4.0.txt and are you shure that your raid works? you can test that by a normal unix/linux installation. if that works with your raid controller, your hardware config is correct. if this is so, i would you porpouse to pass on your raid or a other user of this board can give you a better solution. ASL has a good backup function. it send you emails with a backup of the full system.
