I have 2 SG10's and 1 SG20 that I scooped off eBay in the last few weeks. Since I have always been an OpenBSD user (home FW was OpenBSD 3.3 w/ PF, 5 interfaces using CPQ server and other OpenBSD boxes for BIND, net security tools, large RAID arrays, NAS, etc). I successfully installed OpenBSD 3.3 onto the SG10's and '20's and got them fully configured as FW's.
I am new to Linux, and just downloaded and installed Astaro 4.008 on the Magnia (used IBM laptop to install onto disk, added and configured "fake" ethernet aliases, moved the disk over to the SG10, and successfully configured and now have running as my production firewall Astero on an SG10. I will do the same for the SG20 (one more interface).
I really like Astaro's management, control and reporting interfaces (beats vi and cat on OpenBSD)!
However, I have not gotten the LCD or other SG10/20 features (like the reset and on/off buttons) working. There appears to be an entire directory dedicated to the Magnia (/usr/local/LCD) with support for many of its "unique" features.
Anyone know how to get this last piece configured and installed?
I will be documenting this install end-to-end and post if anyone is interested.
