can´t browse to webadmin after install

hi,
i have installed the ASL in a virtual machine of vmware.
the reason is that i have no network-card and i only want to test the webadmin-interface.
the installation of asl looked good (no errors ). but after rebooting (no errors except: "Starting PCMCIA support  ->failed") i tried to browse to the https://172.*.*.*.* and all the browser says is "The connection was refused when attempting to contact 172.*.*.*".

i have done the installation for about 8 times but i can´t locate the fault.

please help me!

    172.*.*.*.* contains 2 errors: 5 digits instead of 4, and the lack of uniqueness of the ip number.
    1) you have to know the ip number of the networkcard where you want to connect for administration. this ip # is shown in the end screen of the asl installation. 2) the machine where you want to browse remotley the asl must be in the same network eg. if asl is 172.100.0.1 (class B) your workstation could be 172.100.0.55 taking care, that this number is not used by another machine.

    the ip address of my virtual machine is 172.16.121.1.
    with the vmware-console i can connect to the virtual machine --> this ip address works.
    and during the installation of astaro i used the same ip address (172.16.121.1).
    is it right that my virtual machine and astaro have the same ip?
    ...
    but i still can´t browse webadmin.

    yes the fault was that i used the same ip for vmware and for asl.

    now webadmin works fine.
