DMZ Setup problem

Today I decided to start to use my 3rd NIC. I went in and set the IP and Mask on the NIC (eth2). Once I set that I then set the card to "up". Once I did that I was no longer able to access webadmin across my network and was not able to get to the internet. I can not figure out what is going on. I have not rules set for the card yet and no cable pluged into it yet so I should be able to hit the internet and be able to hit Webadmin. Anyone have any ideas??

Oh and here is how I have my IP's set up
Internal 10.10.1.1
DMZ 10.10.1.2

    You're going to need to change your DMZ ip. Think about addresses, particularly network addresses.

    Your internal and DMZ networks need (this should be obvious) different network addresses. Since your internal ip is 10.10.1.1 ( /24 ? ), setting your DMZ ip to 10.10.2.1 ( /24, aka 255.255.255.0 network mask) should clear things up.
