EtherExpress Pro/100 Intelligent Server Adapter

I have a question about this card.  Honestly, I want to know what patches were used to make this adapter work.  I cannot find any information on how to make this work on Linux.  I have one working under my ASL test box, and would like to get a second one working in my Gentoo test box to see what gains can be made.  Where would I find this information?

    Are you saying the card doesn't work at all or are you trying to get some magical features of the card to work?  The chipset and driver should be the same as other E100 cards.  At least the one I have uses the same driver.  The magic is internal to the card, but same chipset.

    The card, using the vanilla 2.4.20 and 2.4.21 kernels does not work at all.  The e100 (or eepro100) driver does not have support for these cards by default.  However, they work in Astaro.

    I'm pretty sure I have one working on a generic 2.4.21 kernel.  It is an older one and runs with the eepro100 driver.  Have you googled a search for it?  One thing I do is to only use a module and not built into the kernel.  Had problems with that years ago and never went back to monolithic.
