new install - low hardware specs

Hello all.
I've been eyeing Astaro for a couple weeks now, and have decided to give it a try.  I havea P-200, 96mb RAM, 2.5gb hdd, 3 NIC box.  Think that will do it? 

I'm currently running Smoothwall, and while it works great, I"m looking for something with more features.  I plan on setting up a DMZ and hosting my own mailserver/webserver all in the name of fun and education. 

I browsed the forums abit and saw some people are running Astaro on lowend boxes (P133, P266, etc)  but it doesn't say how many features they are using.  Think I can make it work?

    Give it a shot!  My ASL home-use install is a low-end box of the class you mention and so far has met my needs.  I use several of the proxies and accounting, and all seems ok.   You might want a bit more DASD/hard drive space for logs, etc.,  but Astaro should definitely run and give you enough performance on the box you described to get started at least.

    Did the install today.  It went flawlessly.  Now running on Astaro.  According to stats the CPU is averaging about 20% load.  Proabably a bit high, but we'll see how it works out.   RAM is about 50% currently.   

    I was also able to get a larger harddrive.  I pulled the harddrive from my old firewall so its now 4.8 gb instead of 2.5.
