Restore backup from 3.216 to V4.008?

Hello,

I need a few informations about reinstalling Astaro.

My actuelly Firewall System is a Cyrix MII 300MHz and 128 MB Ram. Im running Astaro 3.216.

This Night, the Wall begis to bomb me with Error mails.... 

So I want to reinstall is with Astaro V 4.

My Questions: Can i restore the Backupfile from 3.x into the V4?! Because of the Rules and the whole Configuration of the Interfaces..

And may i use my V3 Registration Key (Privat User [;)]te.

Please Help Me

    I do not know about the key but in the product announcement section of this board there are comments on migration specifically 

    "To update to V4 please use the backup feature to save your configuration, load the V4 CD and then restore the backup file. All configurations will be transferred, but please review the settings carefully especially if using V3.3 (Beta) backup files."

    So theoritically you can do that.

    There is also additional  comments on alternative migration methods.
