Fixing Bugs ?

first of all, did you ever contact Pyramid or Astaro Support? Second is that
most of your complaints could have been solved with an easy search here on
the board for example your LCD problem. On the other hand you were not affected
by the timezone problem since timezone Berlin is served correctly(Vatican isn't [;)] ).

Granted there were and are some issues with the pop3 proxy which will be addressed
in the very near future. We do our best to announce critical error corrections as fast
as possible but please understand that all fixes have to pass internal processes which
need its time.

sorry about that. But isn´t this here also the Astaro Support? You wouldn´t like it if all users shortly will contact you directly by mail or phone. I´m looking if a bug is reported here and then i´m waiting for an answer. In some cases other users are doing support, in others there is no response and I even do not know if Astaro Support is  aware of that problem.

Yes! I saw some hints and hacks to solve little problems like LCD or timezone. But if it is so easy to fix such a problem, so where is the quick Up2Date?

A FIREWALL is a very sensitive thing! And I will not hack, patch or will make nice trys to solve such problems.

My problem is, that I  am not really sure that for example our virus protection is running correctly, because I cannot read the logfile.

I would like to read a short info at the board like:

 Yes, we know that problem there is no danger, we will fix it in the next couple of days. 

So I could better sleep.

Dont be afraid, i will not harm you or annoy you.  [:)]sh  a short and  clear answer.

I read your answer, I understand you need more time. So I will be patient.... and looking forward.. I like Astaro Firewall

If that is all you want -
Yes, we know those problems. Even though POP3 logging does not work, the POP3 scanning does, so there is no immediate danger. The LCD and Timezone problems bear no danger either. And those problems will be fixed within the next up2dates.
