Compaq Smart Array 5i

I see that 4.008 works with the Compaq Smart Array 5. Any idea when it will work with the 5i version?

I just installed ASL 4.008 on a brandnew Compaq DL360 with the Smart Array 5i controller without any problems

Here are the specs:
============
Compaq DL 360 G3
System Bios P31 2003-04-08
System ROM 4.04
Smart Array 5i, 64MB Version 2.36
2 x 36,4 GB HD Raid 1

It was just a test-installation, next week I will setup a production system for a customer and migrate our own ASL to Version 4.x on Compaq DL 380.

Hi ian,

Try to get the newest Bios update for that controller.
We where the first with that controller 1,5 years ago.
Astaro dep on our first ASL 3.2 compaq maschine

Same here. Same config and firmware/BIOS as Norbert.

What version of ASL did you use? (i.e. 4.00 or 4.08)
