Compaq Agents on ASLv4

is there any way to install and run the Compaq Agents (cpqasm) on the ASLv4?
the hardware is a Compaq DL 320

I successfully installed ASL 4.015 on a Compaq DL320, including a dual-port NIC (for High-Availability option).
However, the fans turn at maximum speed, which generates massive noise. I guess that hpasm and/or hphealth drivers would adapt the fans' speed to the machine's temperature.

But which hpasm package to install, e.g. to which distribution ASL comes closest (SuSE Enterprise, Red Hat, Red Hat Enterprise, UnitedLinux)?
