This system was running fine under 3.219 with no problems but I was afraid to upgrade this to ver 4.0XX.
No one at ASL would give input so after gleening through many of your posts.... I was able to determine that a PPro-200 is aggreable with ASL 4.0xx my only problem was the HD limit. In some of the posts a standard limit of 1.7gig is mentioned but not really tested.
So I tested this on a VMware setup PII400 with 128 ram and 2.0gig hard drive.
The install went with no problems and performed all updates from 4.000 as a base install through to 4.009 no problems, no hangups.
So I desided to perform the upgrade from 3.219 to 4.008 in the up2date on my production PPro-200 system with the 2.2gig HD.
It went along very smoothly with absolutly no problems.
The only thing I found was that the custom exim.blocksenders file that I had created had been deleted and replaced with an empty file..... so The new info will have to be entered into the new interface insted of by command line. (No Biggy)
So for all of you out there that have old PPro boxes with drives bigger than 1.7gig... I found IMHO [:$] have all the features that 4.0xx offers.....
BTW From 4.008 on, K6-2's are supported.... it is in the info on the upgrades.
Thanks to ASL for the great product and the smooth update util.... Very Nicely done.
