Hardware Questions on update from 3.219 to 4.008

I need Some information please!

I'm at present am running AS V3.219 on a PPro200 with 128 meg ram and a 2.2g HD with 3 nics 1-3c905c-TX and 2-3c595 100BaseTX
I am concerned about upgrading to 4.008 due to the specs stating a req of a pII400 with a 8g HD.

Will I have problems with this system or am I looking a being stuck with 3.219 untill I can upgrade this system to a PII400?
I only have a total of 5 systems attached to it at present.

Should I or should I not upgrade?

    Iccnt!

    For your NIC you can check at  HCL ,
    but for processor and HDD I can tell you, that it was already several times tested and it is working. Be carefull, that you really use v 4.008, because prior versions do not support PI processors. 
    Some users already had some problems installing ASL v.4 to smaller disks as 8GB, but I personally manydged to install it to 1.8GB HDD (real limit which you can't go arround is 1.7GB)

    Thanks Greatly for the info.
    BTW a PPro-200 is not a PI but the forrunner to the PII is registers as a i686 -> PII just no MMX.

    Ya found out about the log files but no biggy..... Only did bot like the  fact that it over wrote my exim.blockedsenders file. with an empty file.... So a rebuilding I will go!!!!
