Hi,
I just tested the update to 4.008 on a testing machine which has only got Intel cards installed. The production machines have Syskonnect cards SK9821-V2 (!) installed, which are actually running.
Now I found the following in the testmachine's kernel log:
Jun 27 16:15:13 (none) kernel: sk98lin: Network Device Driver v4.11
Jun 27 16:15:13 (none) kernel: Copyright (C) 2000-2001 SysKonnect GmbH.
Jun 27 16:15:13 (none) kernel: No adapter found
If this is true, the update will kill our production firewall, as driver version 6.0 is needed for the V2 cards! ASL 4.0 included the necessary kernel patch from www.syskonnect.de.
Did you forget to include this patch into the new kernel? If yes, please tell me what to do...
Regards,
Christopher
