Update Issues with 4.008 and some other problems

Hello,
I currently just setup 2 astro boxes in HA, using the 4.008 iso to install it, then I used a backup from 4.007, it seems to have worked fine, and is currently in production but I have some issues.
1) the cpu load is stuck at 97%. in a ps aux there are *not* any proccess > 0.4 so I dont understand how this can mean I am at 97% cpu usuage, in ps aux it looks more like 5% any hints on why in the webadmin is shows 97 and why in ps aux it shows nothing?

2) when I start up pptp roadwarrier I get these messages in the log
Jun 26 00:04:39 (none) pptpd[8791]: MGR: Max connections reached, extra IP addresses ignored
Jun 26 00:04:39 (none) pptpd[8798]: MGR: Manager process started
Jun 26 00:04:39 (none) pptpd[8798]: MGR: Maximum of 100 connections available

I dont understand this, since no one is connected to pptp, let alone 100 ppl, also, this may be related to my first issue, since the 97% cpu thing seems to come up when I enable roadwarrair, and it dosent seem to go away when I disable it, I am not 100% sure these are related, but I guess its possible.

3) when I go to add a network definiation, the changes never get saved, it saves it fine but when I go to see it in the list its not there.

Any help or suggestions would be great

  Oh, I also forgot to add these are AMD 2400+ machines with 1 gig of ram

    Yes, this is a HA install, its currently running in HA mode as well, I have not tested it yet to see if it works, thats coming soon

    I installed the tools and am watching top right now, the user cpu time is quite high, but I dont see any process's that are using even close to that much cpu. I know  I have had alot of cpu usage with very large ip tables rules, and since iptables isent a binary that runs normaly, it wont show on a top, could it be that?

    have been searching the board :S I saw that one post about those error messages can be ignored, I was just uncertian as to if they where related to my cpu load

    I am currently using 6.05.4008 of IE (its a longhorn install of 4008) could this be why its not saving definiations I add? when I add them I can see them in the list, but they arent available anywhere else, and when I reboot, all the definitions I added are lost.

    UPDATE: with top -i in the time colum, all the process's are at 0.00, except for nacctd which has a time of 2.09 and a cpu load of 0.3, if I add up the cpu% in top -i I get .5% max, usually around .2% even though in the top part of top it says cpu usage is at 84% for user.
