ASL and UPS?

I have an Astaro box setup in a somewhat unstable environment with regards to the power supply.

What options do I have for automatic shutdown of the Astaro box when the UPS is discharged? And what UPS is recommended for this use?
I usually use APC UPSs.

Me works Apcupsd ( www.apcupsd.com ). I have Astaro 4.008 with APC Smart-UPS v/s 420.

Would you care to explain how you've done the setup?
