How many Gigabit cards can Astaro take?

Just curious, how many simultaneous Gigabit cards can be installed on Astaro? And at what license does Gigabit support begin (Office, Professional, Enterprise)?

Hi,

we are using 3 gigabit ethernet cards in each of the firewall boxes - but iirc you have to use the enterprise edition (as we do).

Not any more. GigE is supposedly supported on all versions. I'm using a GigE adapter with a 100 user license, and have 10+ VLAN's trunked through it.

Hello alltogether,

you can install as many as your mainboard carries.

Please note that using gigabit interfaces in a commercial
environment and a real gigabit network is still limited by
legal/license limitations!

What are the legal/license limitations?  I'm clueless as to what you're getting at.
