Astaro v4 on Dell PowerEdge 2650 Server?

Hi,

I have a couple of questions related with an ASL installation that we want to do, and, before we adquire the HW, I want to know if it's compatible with ASL.

I'm going to install ASL v4 into a Dell Poweredge 2650 Server with 2 Intel Xeon Processors 2.4Ghz, and RAID1 HDD Array with an Adaptec AIC7899 controller PERC3-DI. Do anyone has tried this kind of configuration? Is astaro capable to work with a HW RAID1 HDD Array and two processors? Do you think that it's too much HW for an ASL installation? Should I just only use a SCSI HDD instead of RAID1 array, and one processor instead of two?

    JLM,

    today I have updated the hardware compatibility list and exactly that server was tested in our labs
    and added to the list. But you can save the second processor Astaro Security Linux doesn't support 
    and doesn't need multi processor support.

    Through the use of several online translators, I'd guess:

    With canons shot (sniped) at sparrows.

    Does that qualify? :-)
