Damn, 

i have lost the "how-to" which describes the changing of the ASTARO passwords. Is any1 so kind to send it me again? Something has to be set to =1 in a config file - but I cannot remind *uah*

    Well, actually there should be a reply after the "rude" "...search the forum"  but it didn't came up.

    Ok. I had a closer look at the search options and found the button to search for entries older than .....blabla.

    We should have an ASL FAQ or Knowledge Base....

       we do not really need a FAQ for that kind of problems but maybe a  short training
    course on how to use the search function. This is exactly why we have upgraded the UBB 
    software to the more powerful version based on SQL - maybe you remember the slow
    search in the free version. If you believe or not I do personally use the search function
    for some kind of support cases - since it is soo fast :-)

    As aresult I would recommend to you all to have a closer look at the powerful search options.

    Yes I use the UBB search function a lot.

    I was thinking though that the top issues would be great to have in a FAQ for those gotchas that keep coming up.

    ie:
    password lost
    how to setup a web server on a private network
    hardware issues (like the ISA card question and wireless issues).

    We have the VPN how-to's which are great, they do need updating a little though.

    The VPN howto's are currently being revised and updated, an will be posted to the docs.astaro.org site when they are completed.
