I am curious to know if there is performance degradation by using a 4-port NIC in a high traffic environment, between two network segments on the same ports, or to other ports on a different NIC. Would the PCI bus be a bottleneck at all, or not really an issue? Also, what is the recommended brand of 4 port NICs to be used with Astaro?
