My text to hardware@astaro.com was:
per: http://docs.astaro.org/HCL-4.0.txt
Add the Matrox NS-FNIC/4 (http://www.matrox.com/netweb/products/nsfnic4.htm) as a card that works.
The nice thing about this card is its short size that fits into a Compaq SFF.
Even though the chips on the card are INTEL i82559ERs, Astaro identifies them as:
Digital Equipment CorporationDECchip 21142/43
==============================================================
I was sold a card as an INTEL 4 port 10/100 card. It has the 82559ER chips on it. But it does not work.
The barcode on the card says: LG91009DD8F1.
The MAC labels on the card are:
0080C8 4ED8B8
0080C8 4ED8B9
0080C8 4ED8BA
0080C8 4ED8BB
Otherwise I do not know who makes this thing.
The seller is giving me full credit on a return.
