Network

I have an existing network firewall which is also our default gateway IP 192.168.30.100. I want to replace this firewall with Astaro. CAn I build astaro as 192.168.30.101. then change its IP at the last minute to 100 without any effect.

Hi gnursey,

yes you could do this. When you create vpn connections in this test purpose, you have to delete them an create them new.

You can change the IP when you are ready. You will instantly loose your connection but then go back with the new IP (making sure the old firewall is offline before changing IP).
