NIC Problems and network

I have 3 network cards two are identical. and have installed on different IRQ's as expected. two NICs are identical yet only one of the two has been picked up the other says ([unknown vendor / unknown chipset]. The card works as I have tried it. Is this an issue or does Astaro not like identical NICS

Astaro doesn't have problems with identical NICS.
Can you say me the type, vendor and eventually the chipset of the card which shows [unknown vendor / unknown chipset], pls ?

A complete output of
cat /proc/pci and
cat /proc/bus/pci/devices
would be helpful, to get complete information including PCI IDs.

ronny the nic is LinksysNetwork Everywhere Fast Ethernet 10/100 model NC100 this is identical to the the one showing [unknown vendor / unknown chipset hope this helps
