Three network cards do not work.

hi, i have tried to setup astaro 3 and astaro 4 with three network cards.i have tried nearly all combinations with my five network cards: one 3com, one belkin and three realtek, but everytime the same situation: all three cards would be detected by installation, but after reboot astaro look like this:

eth0 and eth1 will work proberly. ifconfig said to eth2: no such device ...

in the bios i have disabled all not used devices, so all network cards have their own interrupt: 7, 10 ,11  or 3, 10 , 11

what´s wrong ?

    Probably a realtek driver issue.

    Suggest you try the latest beta which is now available.
    A search of the forums for Realtek might help too as their are posts dealing with Realtek driver issues.

    but this happens by all network cards, even if i have a configuration with one realtek (buildin), a 3com, and d-link card.
    but all configuration have one thing together: the not working card is in the last pci-slot inserted .....

    Besides the Realtek issues, I've had a similar problem with an old IBM P350.  Turned out that one NIC just wasn't happy on that box but worked fine on a generic box.

    Also make sure the older cards aren't set for PnP which is sometimes a problem.  Sharing interrupts usually isn't a problem with PCI cards.  And best if you don't use INT 3,4,7, or 9 even if you disable other devices.

    i have a similar problem with different nics.
    installed asl4 with 1 onboard intel-nic and 2 netgear-nic (tulip-chipset)... all 3 cards were found during installation, but when i tried to set up the cards using the webadmin-tool, the 2nd tulip-based card wasn't recognized properly... gui says 

    " eth2 [unknown vendor / unknown chipset] type=eth ".

    /etc/modules.conf seems fine...

    after removing the 2nd tulip-based card an inserting a realtek-based nic + editing /etc/modules.conf, the error persists.

    gui still says 

    "eth2 [unknown vendor / unknown chipset] type=eth"

    anybody out there with any ideas?

    3 cards are supposed to work with the free-private-edition... or did i get something wrong?

    I also have tryet on a IBM pc with 3com 905 tx-m but found out that the pxe boot proom is messing it up cant boot and cant start nic then i swithc nic to intel but then i tryed on a new netvista from IBM with 3the samme nics and it works
    so conclusen is bug i Bios and pxe boot proom
