boot stops at "Trying to move old root tp /initrd"

Hi,
I installed Astaro Security Linux V4 on a K6-450, 20GB HDD an 2 3Com NICs. The installation worked fine, without any errors. But when I try booting the system it stops with the following error:
Trying to move old root to /initrd .. failes
Unmounting old root
Trying to free ramdisk memory ... okay
Freeing unused kernel memory: 76k freed
_

nothing more ..
here you can find a little photo oft the last screen I get ..

I've tryed it on an other mashine .. same problem ..
Anyone an idea ? [:S]

The two diffrent machines, are the totally different or do you use parts from one to the other?
It seems like there is an instabillity issue, maybe youre disks, ram or motherboard. To test your ram, use this pogram to test it: http://www.memtest86.com/memt30.zip it runs for an hour or so.. and test you memeory good! if you get errors try changing ram. Also get yourself a disk test tool from the net to see if the disk is damaged. What are the specs on the other computer.

Hi!

The Problem is, that Astaro doesn't support AMD Prozessors anymore. You have to use an Intel-based machine [:(]
