how MANY nics - a WLAN point

Also, is that count based on *real* NICs? Example: I have 2 NICS in my ASL box, but one of them is an 802.1q trunk and currently has 2 VLAN interfaces defined.

Is that 2 or 3 NICs from the license point of view?

It did not work with 3.x, so I doubt it does now.

I argued this when 3.0 licensing came out with no chance to comment by astaro.org  users.

I have published this 4 interface model in Network Computing Mag, where I am a contributing editor.  Astaro people said the decision is set and at least in 3.0 they were not going to change it.
