lockup on hardware detection ASL4.0

Trying to install on a toshiba 5000 server with a megaraid array controller, 4 nic's. Everything looks good until it says to press enter to except hardware then it locks up. Anybody got a clue??

Have you checked the hardware compatibility list on the documentation site ?

Checked hardware compatability and it says that everything should work.

please post the hardware you use and try switching to console 3 and/or 4 after pressing the 'last' return ... (use Alt-F3 / Alt-F4 to do so)

This is a dual P2 450, 384 Megs RAM, 5 9GB seagate HD's, megaraid array controller, toshiba cd-rom. I tried alt-F3 and it is calculating partition sizes. alt-F4 says uniform cd-rom driver revision: 3.12.

I had this same problem on my dual PPro also.  (with a megaraid controller -- doing raid 5 with 6 disks).

It would lock up in various places during installation.

I finally gave up.  I went back to using my celeron box as a firewall.
