Just for the record,
Recently I updated my ASL boxes from 4.0 to 4.001. When I did, the two High Availability servers did not communicate with eachother. Webadmin reported that there was no slave device available.
I changed the HA Encryption Key at both servers, and it seems operate corectly now.
