Virus Scanner Up2date

I have just got this message from 'Firewall Notification System'. If I restart Pattern Up2date or restart the firewall it just repeats. Up2date contacts the server ok but returns a similar message.
Any suggestions.

    Hi all,

    the message is misleading, sorry. 

    First of all it tells you that it can't start the Virus Protection, but if you check your process list with 'ps axf' you will see that the scanner is running, which means you are protected. 

    Second, it tells you to restart the up2date, it should say retry the up2date since there was a temporary problem on the up2date server, wich btw is fixed now.

    I hope i have not to reboot !!!
    Proudly running Astaro with:
    System Uptime: 245 days 23 hours 9 minutes
    System Version: Astaro Security Linux  3.212

    Hi McPool,

    congratulation to this uptime (it is not the highest one i know but not bad)!
     
    There is no need to reboot or to restart something, set your pattern up2date interval to 1 hour 
    and everything is ok - on all my test machines the pattern up2date runs well...

    Yes it works !
    my fault, i didn't install the system up2dates.
    After applying all prefetched system packages from 3.212  to  3.216, the av-pattern up2date runs perfect.
    Thanks a lot for this great support on a saturday evening !

    Hi McPool,

    please post  your uptime before you install a new version of ASL an Up2Date with reboot!
