Up2Date from 3.2x to 4.x available?

I have a question.
I am running Ver 3.216 with no problems. But I would like to upgrade to the Ver.4.
In doing this I would like to keep all my custom system settings that are not included in the normal back up.
Does anyone know if there is going to be an Up2Date issued for Ver.3.2x to Ver.4 in the near future.
I really do not want to blow away the complete system to install the new one only.

Hi!

As Astaro stuff promised, there will be Up2Date from version 3.2 to 4.0, but so far nobody told us the date yet.

Ya I noticed that an update has been released for ver4 but nothing for the grand update.

I'm wondering if I should just give in and do the complete upgrade.

Hi,

I did such an upgrade using a configuration backup of Version 3.216 to restore the original settings. That worked flawlessly, so I can recommend this. The system was using SNAT/DNAT, IPSec VPN (without CA) and authentication on a Windows Server and everything worked fine afterwards, so this was less effort than I expected. V4 is working quite well so far, but there is a small problem regarding the VPN policies.
