ok, i was trying to install ASL 4 onto a spare box, and after it found the hardware it dumped out to an "Installation Failed: Please remove CD-ROM and restart the system" screen. i went to con3 and saw that it found the cdrom at sr0, and the last part was that it tried to mount sr0 to /install then died. next i went to con2 and did a cd to /dev and then did an" ls sr* " which returned nothing. next i did "ls s* | less" which showed that there was an scd0 entry. so i did "mount -t iso9660 /install and that mounted the cd just fine. so is there a bug in the install program with using scsi cdrom drives?
