Astaro V4 ADSL PPoE Connection Issues

Hi,

We have a problem using Astaro V4.0.  The Firewall has three interfaces, LAN, DMZ and Internet.  The Internet inface is a PPoE connection to an ADSL modem.  ADSL being as good as it is, often drops out.  When this happens, the Firewall registers this interface as being down and does not attemptto re-initialise it even when the line is back up.  The only way to get the Firewall to start using the interface again is to re-start it.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

    Log into your firewall and go to the directory
    /var/chroot-pppoe/bin, 
    then edit the file DSL.sh,
     find the following section and edit the values until you find ones that work best for your situation.

    # timeouts in seconds
    MINTIME=60
    ACRETRY=10
    PPPOERETRY=60
