Astaro V4 ADSL PPoE Connection Issues

Hi,

We have a problem using Astaro V4.0.  The Firewall has three interfaces, LAN, DMZ and Internet.  The Internet inface is a PPoE connection to an ADSL modem.  ADSL being as good as it is, often drops out.  When this happens, the Firewall registers this interface as being down and does not attemptto re-initialise it even when the line is back up.  The only way to get the Firewall to start using the interface again is to re-start it.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

    This appears to be an issue a lot of people have with ADSL but it seems to depend on the modem hardware or something else external to Astaro.
    Mine stays up all the time and I never have a problem with the connection not being up, others report issues similar to yours.  Suggest you contact support@astaro.com for further info.
