problems burning iso images

I tried burning the asl-3.209.iso and asl-3.380.iso files with cdrecord in linux and Fireburner in Windows XP, and both files errored on both systems. Fireburner reports something like NO_SENSE error, at sector 10148 for both images. I no longer have the error cdrecord spit out, but it seemed to happen at about the same place in the burn. Am I missing something here? I set it to use dao, and that seemed to be the only relevant option in Fireburner.

  • Yep, nero burned it ok. Perhaps Astaro needs to alter their iso creation process... burning a cd image shouldn't be so much trouble. Especially considering one of their specifically documented methods doesn't work (cdrecord). Anyway, thanks for the tip.
