Bandwidth problem

Hi

I have just installed a trial version of ASL 3 and seem to have an issue with Bandwidth avaliability. When connected directly to the router running a bandiwdth download test I get 2mb available, which is correct. Through the firewall I get 1mb avaialble.

Is there any reason for this?

Is it due to evaluation version, limits etc..?

Any help would be good [:(]

there is no limitation in any version, also 2 MBit shouldn't be a problem at all for the firewall. How did you test that?

I ran a download test from here: http://www.pcpitstop.com/internet/Bandwidth.asp

The first test was with a laptop directly connected to the router, the second connected via ASL running on a 1.2Ghz PC to the same router, no other hardware or firewall sharing the bandwidth. [:S]

did you assign multiple default gateways?
Make sure that there is a configured default
gateway at the external interface only!

Also you need to make sure you have all proxys turned off on the ASL as all of PC Pitstops utilities are web based. Which the proxy will try to cache.
