Checksum failure

I am trying to install ASL 3.207 and when it gets to the checksum verification it fails. Why?

Astaro provides the md5 sum of the ISO image, before you burn the CD check the md5 sum to make sure the image is ok. But it could all be a bad CD-R.

I did a new download and unzipped the file to the same folder as the md5 file, created a new cd and tried again and got the same error.

I had the same problem with new 4.0 rel I got on INFOSECURITY event in ITALY on Feb 2003 !!!

Install stop with the same msg even if CD was ORIGINAL !!!

Please help me !

It seems you got a corrupted CD. Please try to download the ISO image and burn it yourself. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I´ve got the same Problems with 3.209 but it was definitly not a CD-Error
- i´ve just plugged another CD-Rom and "tataa" it works without Checksum failure..
So get another CD-Rom and have a look [;)]
