Install on Digital Venturis FX2 failure

Hello,

i want Install ASL 3.209 on an Digital Venturis FX2. The PC has 166 Mhz Pentium 1 with 128 MB Ram.

Wenn i boot from the CD, the first message come, an when it decompress the image into the RAM ( second line of boot message) the PC will reboot. [:S]

In another PC the CD boots fine without any errors.

The Bios ist updatet to 1.12.

Other Linux systems like Suse Mail Server 3.1 or Debian 3 will Install without problem on this PC.

Has anyone an idea ?

I think that 166 Mhz insteat of 400 Mhz ist not the problem.

Now i installed Smoothwall 2.0 GPL, it works very fast and without problems.
