EPIA-800 and Phobos 430 problems

I am trying to install Astaro 3.2.9 on my mini-itx box (Via C3 Epia 800MHz). I went through the installation just fine, but now when I try to connect via a web browser, the firewall box beeps four times and refuses the connection. The on-board NIC is the administration interface, not any of the Phobos ports. Does the fact that I have 5 ethernet ports have anything to do with this? I only want to run three, but the 4-port card was the cheapest multi-port card I could find (less than $30). Do I need to find a two-port NIC to replace the 4-port one? Any thoughts?

My hardware:
Via C3 800MHz
WD 84AA (8.4GB) HDD
512MB RAM
Phobos 430 4-port NIC

    I am running an EPIA system with an Intel Dual 10/100 Ethernet adapter, as well as the internal VIA/Rhine Ethernet adapter.  This system runs without a problem.  The following is a description of my hardware:

    EPIA-800
    512MB RAM
    40GB IDE Hard Drive
    Intel Dual 10/100 Ethernet Adapter
    2677R Case

    I did not see the Phobos adapter on the Astaro Hardware Compatibility list.  

    My advise is to follow the Astaro Hardware Compatibility list for NICs, SCSI, IDE and RAID adapters - if the hardware is not explicitly listed; then, more-than-likely, the hardware will not work even if the installation seems to finish without issues.  

    If you think that the Phobos adapter(s) should be included in the Astaro Kernel, then write Astaro to see if they will include it in the next release.  

    Also, there have been some reports that the power supplies that came with original 2677 cases caused problems with both the integrate Ethernet adapter and the PCI-based adapter.  If you have a 2677 case, check to make sure that it is a rev-R.

    The Phobos website says that it uses the tulip.o driver. Does Astaro even acknowledge that the card exists?
