Can I use backup file with different NIC's?

I have a runnig ASL Box but have to install astaro on a different machine. Is it possible to use a backup file of the current machine on the future one, even if it has a different type of network cards by just changing /etc/modules.conf manually after install?

I just want the other machine as a backup system in case the running one goes down. Anyone has experience with this?

matbehns,

that works perfectly - the backup file is in the
current version completely independent from the
installed hardware - of course the number of
network should at least be the same
