Igal - Like any good firewall, ASL, by default allows nothing through. So you could say that there IS a default configuration. It just doesn't do anything.
I suspect that you meant to ask whether there were any TYPICAL configurations. If so, you'll want to take a look at the documentation. It should show you enough to allow you to configure a firewall that allows all PCs behind it to access the Internet and that allows the Internet to access a private web server.
Perhaps you could describe the kind of things you want to achieve. I'm sure you will get more useful responses as you get more specific.
