Found something at drive = 82

Hi,

I've tried to install on a system with an Adaptec 2940UW clone (Asus).

After successfully reading the boot record from SCSI-CD

ISOLINUX comes up with error messages:
Loading spec packet failed, trying to wing it
Found something at drive = 82
Failed to locate CD-ROM device; boot failed

What's wrong?

Get a working cd or CD-Rom or both.

W2K did finish install
NT did install with the newer 2940UW driver
The used Astaro CD worked on IDE machines.

What now?

Have you updated the BIOS/Firmware on the SCSI card?

Hello,

it seems to be a problem with your CD-ROM drive. Does an anothed drive on the same SCSI controller work with the aastaro CD?
