Bad install 1010101010101010s

Hey all,

I recently installed the fw but when i reboot all i get are continous 101010101010s. Changing hd modes and settings does nothing except make my computer think for a brief time that there is no hd there, and when it does see it its 10101010s again. doh. ive tried reinstalling and nothing. any ideas would be greatly appreicated.

Could be a problem with your BIOS settings, make sure the HDD is configured as a primary master and mode is normal.

I have the drive set to primary master and ive changed the mode to normal and all others that were on the list but it still did not work.

hey andy,
after i reinstalled the first time with "normal" it still did not work but for fun i rebooted and installed again and it worked. a sketchy installation but it works now. thanks for your help.
