How to configure ADSL external modem

I have two network cards
Eth0 - Internal network – 172.16.48.xx/20
Eth1 – Card to ADSL – 10.0.0.150/24

I need to make a PPTP connection from Eth1 to my Ethernet ADSL modem (10.0.0.138 pc1 with a fixed IP on the outside)

How to configure this???

I tried PPP connection on Eth1, but that does not seem to work.

Please HELP!!!!

let me ask you a question first, do you really need PPPoE? sounds like your ADSL modem has a static IP assigned. May be you only need to configure eth1 as standard ethernet card and set the IP address of the modem as default gateway???

Seems like a realy need it (the windows 98/2000 and Mac installation instructions tell me so).

Tried your suggenstion anyway, no connection!
