I can't believe I've wasted so many hours trying this product on a colleague's advice that it was sure to replace CheckPoint in the near future. It is nothing more than a badly re-packaged Linux distribution.
I had some problems with the initial install on my Compaq integrated video card. It didn't want to display the blue background and instead I had a completely white screen. I added a second video card to the system, so I could finally get through the install and to my surprise it complains that I have too many freaking hard drives... what tha heck? So, what if I want to keep extensive logs??? what about RAID for the logs? Who in their right mind decided to put an abort logic in the script if more than one hard drive was found? Also, I was able to detect every single network card on my system through the use of modprobe on their bash prompt, but their installation program complained that it only found one card and the firewall would be in presentation "gui" mode only???
All I can say is I'm so glad I didn't mention this product to any of our clients before taking a look at it. I wonder who is buying it...
