I have this specialized box where its serial console can be used to redirect its I/O function to another computer through RS-232 connection. In other words theorectically there is no need for direct display and keyboard on the box itself.
Now I tried to install ASL with this serial connection. Box boot up fine (with display and keyboard functioning) and loaded the ISO image, up to the point when ASL load it RAM disk image. At that point the serial communication is basically dropped - no display or keystroke input from another computer.
Does anyone has this kind of installation experience and could suggest what can make it work throughout the whole installation process? [:S]
