cannot configure or connect to Webmin

Astaro 3.2 installed correctly but I cannot connect to through wemin. I cannot ping the server either.

I have put the server up inside a exisitng network (for testing) The screen says 192.168.1.1 login. But I cant ping the box from any box on the network.

I am trying https://

    sorry for the stupid question:
    is the cable on the right network card?

    if you are seeing the login page that says 192.168.1.1 login then you should be able to use the username and password to login.  That means you are at least contacting the fw via port 443. Did you type the password correctly when you installed, or tried to login?

    You will not be able to ping the wirewall until you login via webAdmin and allow ICMP to be accepted.  It is a setting under network I believe.

    I am not seeing the login page. I am seeing login prompt on the firewall. I can not access the box from anyother box on the net via https

    I have kind off the same problem. I install it, add ip for my nic, then it tells me its making partions, and after that reboot your system, Then it starts up with a login screen (ip at top, login under), but i have no password, to login with..?? I cant set any passwords anyware, nither can i contact it by https://ip, and cant ping it. I have tryed switch the cables around like 30 times even.
    there must be a defualt password, or somthing, its not easy the solve any problems with out that password..

    I found the problem, its waz the netcard settings, not that i did anything wrong, but i had to move them to other PCI slots, and after that all just worked fine...
