screen with 01010101010101's

I was able to complete the install. but after i reboot i get nothing but running screan with 01's as if lilo (boot loader) wasn't corectly writen. Any sugestions?

Try changing the LBA mode in the bios to large or normal.

i had this once when my hdd was set to slave and not master in the bios.
