2.028 breaks SSH public key authentication!

I just made the mistake of doing an up2date.   [:(] 

2.028 will not let me log in with SSH using an SSH pubic key.  It seems to only support user password.

What do I need to do to fix this?  SSH pubic key is VERY important to me!!!!!!

    Now it works?  All of a sudden?

    I logged in as Loginuser, SU ed and just browsed around.  Did a PASSWD on my regular SSH user id, then went to login.

    Maybe something has to be started with the SSH server after UP2DATE.

    Or maybe I was too much in a hurry and a service had not started yet after the UP2DATE?
