Anyone had problems connecting more than one PPTP user?

Hello all,

I have set-up Astaro v3.202 and have had various sundry problems.  The latest is that when I try to connect more than one user, both get kicked out.

I receive PPTP log messages similar to the following;

Aug  5 10:38:57 asl pppd[27988]: found interface eth0 for proxy arp
Aug  5 10:38:57 asl pppd[27988]: local  IP address 10.192.192.1
Aug  5 10:38:57 asl pppd[27988]: remote IP address 10.192.192.51

Aug  5 10:38:57 asl pppd[27988]: local  IP address 10.192.192.1
Aug  5 10:38:57 asl pppd[27988]: remote IP address 10.192.192.51

Anyone have similar experiences?  If so, how did you solve them?

    i run PPTP with several users and no problem, anyways, i can only see one remote IP address in your logfile 10.192.192.51?

    I only posted a portion of the log.  there are probably over 50 lines of this stuff.  Any other thoughts?  Would posting more of the log be helpful?

    Hello All,

    I have solved this problem and am posting my findings for all in the future who may have a similar issue.

    The problem was that the people who were trying to connect were behind a router that was doing NAT and externally and to Astaro that the multiple users were coming from the same IP.  Apparently Astaro doesn't like that and crashed the working connection and would not connect the second and subsequent connections.

    All I did to fix it was to change the users to static IP address, removing the NAT and things are working fine.

    Thanks for those who have taken time to read my original post and giving it some thought.
