Lost Passwords

Hi all,

I've lost the password for loginuser and root. I do however still have the password for WebAdmin. Is there anyway I can either recover or reset the loginuser and root passwords? 

My Palm Pilot died and took the passwords with it.

    It's a bit painful  [:)] 

    Boot from a floppy set or a CD, rw-mount the root partition somwhere (you'll need reiserfs support in that boot kernel).

    Put a new password hash for "root" in /etc/shadow (you can use one from another system).

    Then remount the partition ro and do a 'sync' to be sure.
