Problem Netelligent 10/100 Tlan

I have somm Problem during the installation from ASL 3.202

The PC is unable zo detect the Compaq Netelligent 10/100 Network card so i have check the install log and i see the follow line:
PCI Device found: 0.04.0 0e11.ae32 class ff80 IRQ b Compaq Corporation Netelligent 10/100 tlan

Now waht can i do to Install the Card.

Hello Roger,

strange, this card should be recognized by 3.202...

Please see the install log and try to find the string "Probing module tlan" (it should be further down after the string you quoted). Is there such string? Are there some error messages after this string?

T hank You for the fast Answer

in the .Install.log is no String like: "probing tlan". is possible the cause is the "ff80" in the pci detect section, so it is no Networkcard should be "0200"

Unfortunately I can't solve this problem without hardware for test. We'll try to get this card, than I hope I'll be able to help.

try adding 'alias eth1 tlan' to /etc/modules.conf and rebooting. Change eth1 for whatever your card is on.
